College Baseball Placement Program
In the world of College Baseball there are numerous rules, regulations, deadlines and terms that both athletes and parents must know in order to successfully navigate the bewildering quagmire that is College Recruitment. This can be a daunting task for anyone who hasn't been around the game. Mistakes can be made that will affect a ball player's career before it even begins.
All Star Academy's Jake McKinley has designed a program that provides a blue print that will successfully guide your student athlete through the recruitment process and get him to the best possible program. Jake's experience as a player and connections as a college recruiter enabled him to match all of the All Star Academy Titans in 2009 with college programs.
JAKE MCKINLEY'S BIO
Jake has experience at the college level as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator. Having coached at both the four year and Junior College level, Jake holds a career win-loss record of 139-75 entering the 2010 season. He has established relationships with college coaches at the D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and Junior College levels that he is ready to tap into as ASA launches this new program.

Program Packages:
Bronze Package: ($220)
- Two consultations
- A general introduction to the process of college baseball recruitment
- An interview with the player & parents
- An individual timeline
- Specific issues for concentration
Silver Package: ($800)
- Bronze Package plus:
- Use of our placement computer program, the academic/athletic data will be entered in order to identify whether a school is a safety, a reach, or a target.
- A printout from 50 schools that includes information for the school's baseball department and coach.
Gold Package: ($2500)
- Silver Package plus:
- A skills video that we will film, edit, and produce. This video will be mailed by ASA to 10 schools, posted on our website and on youtube.com.
- Jake McKinley will personally contact 25 schools on your behalf.
- The list will then be narrowed down to 10 schools and Jake will market you until a final decision is made.
- Once you have signed, an 8x10 photo of the player will hang on the "Moving On" wall in our facility.
Jake has developed a unique computer program designed by a software engineer to provide a player with his own list of schools deemed "safety", "target", or "reach" based on academic achievements. The list is then refined based on the player's baseball skill level and the desired level of play: NCAA Divisions, NAIA, or JC. Finally demographics are considered: university versus college, part of the country, urban versus rural, desired major, and financial requirements. A final list of 25 schools is generated that is unique to each player and provides complete contact information for each school and baseball program.
