Fred Breining

Pitching Consultant for ASA
Fred was drafted by the Pittsburg Pirates in the third round in 1974. He pitched for the San Francisco Giants and the Montreal Expos from 1981-1985 when his career was tragically cut short while pitching to Ray Knight. He fielded a bunt and threw it to first, only to blow out his shoulder. He never played another inning as a Major Leaguer. Fred retired with a career ERA of 3.34 and 260 strike outs.
Fred has spent the last 2 decades designing a simplified and effective method of teaching pitching mechanics that maximizes arm safety and pitch accuracy. Velocity and movement develope only as a result of good mechanics and proper growth and maturity of the pitching arm.
